Leonardo Lima
I lead the engineering behind enterprise B2B software used by organizations around the world.
Java Champion since 2017
As SVP of Engineering at Trilogy, I'm responsible for engineering across several products: a portfolio of established enterprise products spanning communication, CRM, email and messaging, business continuity, and customer-experience software.
It includes the Aurea Platform (Messenger and Monitor), Aurea CRM, Pivotal, ListManager, MessageOne, and Tivian (Discover XI and Communication XI), together representing tens of millions of dollars in annual recurring revenue.
Over 20+ years I've led engineering across Industrial IoT, finance, and business-productivity software, including five years as a CTO. I'm deliberately hands-on: I believe engineering leadership is architecture and people and day-to-day code and operations.
In the Java ecosystem, I'm a Java Champion (2017), served on the Executive Committee of the Java Community Process (2013–2020) helping guide the evolution of the platform, and was a co-Specification Lead for JSR 363, the Units of Measurement API. I hold four issued US patents and have spoken repeatedly at JavaOne and Devoxx.
